  • Freestyle scooters for intermediate riders have better decks, wheels, and forks compared to beginner scooters and are overall more durable. These scooters typically no longer have threaded forks, they have wheels with aluminum cores, larger handlebars, and stronger decks. Riders who are just starting out but have already tried some cheaper scooters will also appreciate these types of scooters.

What should you definitely not forget before every ride and training session?

  • Never forget to warm up, stretch, and exercise a bit before riding, as this will make you more agile and performing the first tricks on the scooter will be easier.
  • Definitely never forget protective gear such as a helmet, protectors for knees, teeth, etc. Choosing a helmet is really very important; a standard cycling helmet won't suffice because it doesn't cover the back of your head.
  • Before each ride, check if the scooter is in good condition, if there are any loose screws, if the handlebars are not wobbly, or if there are any cracks around the welds.
