Wearing a helmet on a scooter also gives you confidence when performing new tricks and jumps.

Scooter Helmets

There are many elements that differentiate scooter helmets from traditional bicycle helmets. Scooter helmets are designed to protect mainly the back of the head compared to traditional bicycle helmets. Scooter helmets are also resistant to multiple impacts, which means they can withstand many minor impacts without needing to be replaced. Helmets marked with EN 1078 certification are also approved for skateboarding, rollerblading, and cycling.

How to Choose a Scooter Helmet?

Scooter helmet should definitely be lightweight and comfortable, and of course, it should provide you with excellent protection. The helmet should fit well on the head without wobbling and without having to make any compromises at the expense of comfort. Modern helmets are designed to be comfortable and are equipped with foam padding. Many models also have additional padding that you can remove, allowing you to customize the helmet perfectly to fit.

Before purchasing a helmet, it is of course important to properly measure your head to find your optimal size. With a proper helmet for a freestyle scooter, you will always be safe.

How to Measure Head Circumference

Measure the circumference of your head just above the ears and eyebrows. The helmet should sit low, horizontally on the head, and should not be tilted.
